another gig!

At the 19th of december we will perform our noise together with B.E.T.O.E. (great Raw Punk band) from Venezuela and some other nice bands at the AKW (Autonome Kultur Werkstatt) in Biel/Bienne. Great stuff!

We are still searching for a bass player though. But not finding one won´t stop us!

News Round-Up



Looking back, I have to admit that due to different reasons we couldn´t be very active regarding live shows this year.  But now we finally have two more gigs to come.

 

The first one is next saturday (26.09.) in Freiburg. We will be playing there with the following bands:  Sending all processes the kill signal (our vocalists other band), les give a shits, smegma brothers, lobster lobster, bettina call and trockenkotze. It is a so called soli-party, which (for reasons you might guess) will be held at a secret place. In case you want to attend just send us a PM.

 

 

 

Roughly a month later ( 23.10.) we will perform at the horst klub in kreuzlingen, along with (again) sending all processes the kill signal. Nice!

 

And we also put our first recording session on youtube. So now you can watch (or rather listen to) it there or below.

 

 

 



Bass Player wanted!

I am fully aware that this blog has not many readers, but still I want to tell you something:

 

Right now we are searching for a bass player. For quite a while  we were able to go on without one. It worked out with gigs and the like, but we really want to change the situation now.

So, if you (by any chance) come from Southwestern Germany, Northern Switzerland or Eastern France, play bass and are motivated to be a part of our band: get in touch! Or maybe you know someone who might be interested? Tell us!

Short Update

A short update:

We recently uploaded our entire first recording session (12 songs) to our bandcamp page.

Feel free to listen, download and (hopefully) enjoy. Did I mention that it´s for free?

DIY Action!

Finally we got something done, that we wanted to do for a long time: to print some shirts and patches the good old DIY way!

Well, sometimes we need a deadline to get things done (that´s how we roll...) and so the upcoming gig in Delémont helped us a lot (you can check the previous post for more information). The week before the gig we started from scratch. We created the designs, went to a copy shop for some preparations and then entered the silkscreen workshop at the mighty KTS in Freiburg to print the stuff.  It came out pretty nice!

And we also did something else that week. If you have read the other posts in this blog you might remember the infos and updates concerning our split 7" with Corrosive. Well, right now I have to say that we do not know when or if it will come out. What a bummer!

In the past we took some CD-Rs with 4 or 5 of our songs and different layouts with us to our gigs to have at least something to give away. But we wanted something better, so we did a brainstorming and came up with the idea of a "message in a bottle/Molotov"-demo:

So basically it´s all songs from our first recording session minus the one we accidentally fucked up during recording ( a total of 12 songs) in WAV.format on a USB-stick with a text sheet and a patch in a bottle with some cover art as label. Wow, that was quite a long sentence!!

Grinding Delémont III part 2

And again we had a superb weekend! Grinding Delémont III was uber-awesome. We saw and (our bad) missed many great bands ( you can look them up on the flyer below), we drank and smoked too much, met old friends and were pleased with our performance. Not to mention the totally relaxed athmospere.

The organisation of the festival, including the delicious food (cuisinhumate!) and the sound were perfect. So, thanks a lot, or better:

 

Merci beaucoup à tous les présents: staff, bands, public. C'était très bien!

 

Conclusion: Life can be good! (Sometimes at least...)
