Ouch!

Damn, we have to take another break because I fucked up my hand, which makes drumming quite  problematic.

.

Ah well...this one won´t take that long (I hope at least) and then we will work on some new tunes. There´s even a slight chance that we´ll record them at the end of the year or the beginning of the next one. So watch out! Cheers!

Summer Break is over!

The last few months we had to take a break from making music, as some of us had to fulfill several obligations. Life sure can keep you busy! But now the stuff is more or less done and we are back with a bang, or better: with a new gig!

On Saturday, the 13th of august we will perform together with Overthrust (how cool is that?) from Botswana and Bait from Wurzburg. This great event will take place at the P8 in Karlsruhe, run by Panorama e.V., and actually a kind of reincarnation of the great Halle14 which had to close down.

See you there!

Overthrust are on tour at the moment, check the second flyer below for tour dates!

Gig in Strasbourg

Next week we have the honour to perform at the Diamant D´Or in Strasbourg, together with Litige and Police Control. Be there for some punk stuff. Thanks a lot Simon!

Emergency Attack #3 -Compilation

Hey hey! We are proud to announce that we are part of yet another great compilation: Emergency Attack # 3 brought to you by C.R.A.P. in good old DIY style. Download it there and check out the many great bands on it, even including the mighty Agathocles! Thanks a lot to C.R.A.P. for making this happen!

Never forget: Grind is protest!

Labour Day - AKW Fest

No plans for labour day yet? Well, you could watch us perform at the AKW-Fest in Biel. We will even play some new tunes!
And apart from that the fest itself is really worth a visit. For more info check out the flyer below or look here.

Hellhammer Tribute

I already told you in a former post that  we would take part in an upcoming Hellhammer tribute LP, brought to you by fucking kill records. Now the LP is in the pressing plant and you can actually preorder it!

I have to say that it looks and also sounds pretty nice.

Nice one, isn´t it?

In case you need more infos about the tribute, want to listen to it, or even make Mr. Chris Muench a happy man by preordering a copy, just head over to the fucking kill records blog!

first gig in 2016

We will play our first gig in 2016 with led by fear from Russia at the Hirscheneck in Basel. See you there!

By the way: led by fear are on tour at the moment. Check them out!

another gig!

At the 19th of december we will perform our noise together with B.E.T.O.E. (great Raw Punk band) from Venezuela and some other nice bands at the AKW (Autonome Kultur Werkstatt) in Biel/Bienne. Great stuff!

We are still searching for a bass player though. But not finding one won´t stop us!

cheers and up the punx!

News Round-Up

Looking back, I have to admit that due to different reasons we couldn´t be very active regarding live shows this year.  But now we finally have two more gigs to come.

The first one is next saturday (26.09.) in Freiburg. We will be playing there with the following bands:  Sending all processes the kill signal (our vocalists other band), les give a shits, smegma brothers, lobster lobster, bettina call and trockenkotze. It is a so called soli-party, which (for reasons you might guess) will be held at a secret place. In case you want to attend just send us a PM.

Roughly a month later ( 23.10.) we will perform at the horst klub in kreuzlingen, along with (again) sending all processes the kill signal. Nice!

And we also put our first recording session on youtube. So now you can watch (or rather listen to) it there or below.

Bass Player wanted!

I am fully aware that this blog has not many readers, but still I want to tell you something:

Right now we are searching for a bass player. For quite a while  we were able to go on without one. It worked out with gigs and the like, but we really want to change the situation now.

So, if you (by any chance) come from Southwestern Germany, Northern Switzerland or Eastern France, play bass and are motivated to be a part of our band: get in touch! Or maybe you know someone who might be interested? Tell us!

That´s it for now. Have a nice day!

Noise From Hell Vol.18 compilation

Hey, we are part of the 18th volume of the Noise from Hell compilation! 15 cool bands from all over the world contribute 22 tracks to this great output. Download it, listen to it and share it!

Terima kasih to Trashnoiser/NFHZine!!!

Short Update

A short update:

We recently uploaded our entire first recording session (12 songs) to our bandcamp page.

Feel free to listen, download and (hopefully) enjoy. Did I mention that it´s for free?

DIY Action!

Finally we got something done, that we wanted to do for a long time: to print some shirts and patches the good old DIY way!

Well, sometimes we need a deadline to get things done (that´s how we roll...) and so the upcoming gig in Delémont helped us a lot (you can check the previous post for more information). The week before the gig we started from scratch. We created the designs, went to a copy shop for some preparations and then entered the silkscreen workshop at the mighty KTS in Freiburg to print the stuff.  It came out pretty nice!

some shirts in the making

And we also did something else that week. If you have read the other posts in this blog you might remember the infos and updates concerning our split 7" with Corrosive. Well, right now I have to say that we do not know when or if it will come out. What a bummer!

In the past we took some CD-Rs with 4 or 5 of our songs and different layouts with us to our gigs to have at least something to give away. But we wanted something better, so we did a brainstorming and came up with the idea of a "message in a bottle/Molotov"-demo:

message in a bottle

So basically it´s all songs from our first recording session minus the one we accidentally fucked up during recording ( a total of 12 songs) in WAV.format on a USB-stick with a text sheet and a patch in a bottle with some cover art as label. Wow, that was quite a long sentence!!

If you want some of the stuff mentioned above you can get it at our gigs (by the way: we are always looking for some. Want to help?) or you can contact us.

Up the punx!

Violence Vol. IV digital mixtape

We are happy to announce that we, along with many great bands, are part of the fourth part of the "violence" compilation. Check it out!

Thanks and cheers to The Death Of A Modernist for making this happen!

You should really check out The Death Of A Modernist on Facebook , Tumblr or Bandcamp. Great stuff awaits you there!

Grinding Delémont III part 2

And again we had a superb weekend! Grinding Delémont III was uber-awesome. We saw and (our bad) missed many great bands ( you can look them up on the flyer below), we drank and smoked too much, met old friends and were pleased with our performance. Not to mention the totally relaxed athmospere.

The organisation of the festival, including the delicious food (cuisinhumate!) and the sound were perfect. So, thanks a lot, or better:

Merci beaucoup à tous les présents: staff, bands, public. C'était très bien!

Conclusion: Life can be good! (Sometimes at least...)

Some random impressions:

...if you see these guys: run! run as fast as you can!

The SAS in Delémont the day after. As if nothing ever happened...

Grinding Delémont III

We will take part in the third edition of the grinding delémont fest, brought to you by grinding rebellion records! The line-up so far is already great. Many thanks to Akim!

release update

We received some quite bad news: right now there seems to be an ever-increasing run on vinyl releases, which in itself is a good thing because vinyl is great. But that also means that the actual delivery time for a vinyl output has been prolonged from roughly 4 weeks to something like 3 months!

So, our split lp with Corrosive probably won´t be released before april 2015. What a bummer! We´ll keep you posted in case there will be any changes.

To end on a positive note:

Hardcore Winterfest in Tuebingen was an absolutely awesome experience, even better than expected. Thumbs up to the organizers, the audience and to all bands that played there. And special thanks to Fredward for making it possible for us to join the gig!

One of the many highlights of the H.C. Winterfest: a cop-piñata. Muy bien!

gigs in september 2014: retrospect + release infos

The last two weekends were simply outstanding. We played two festivals that offered everything you could ask for: nice people, great party and a shitload of awesome bands. And all that for good causes! (want to know details? Just write!) Hats off to the organizers and the audience for their hospitality. And thanks again for letting us play.

So believe me, DIESEL´N`DUST and BLACK FOREST FIESTA GRANDE are always worth a visit.

Concerning our first release: there is a little delay, it will be released sometime between now and January 2015, and it is going to be a split 7" with our friends from CORROSIVE. Till then you can get a Demo-CD-R at our gigs.

And we are still looking for shows. If you want us to play in your area just get in touch!
